I may withdraw this consent to use my email address at any time in the future. Newsletters will be sent in compliance with our privacy policy.

(2) Subscribing to our newsletter requires a double opt-in, i.e. when you have registered with your email address you will first receive an email containing an activation link for you to confirm your subscription. Your registration will not be complete until you have clicked the activation link. During the registration process we will store your IP address and the times of registration and confirmation in addition to your email address. We do this so we will subsequently be able to clarify any misuse of external data and demonstrate that you have registered.

(3) If you do not click the activation link to confirm your registration within 24 hours, we will automatically delete any data we have stored in association with your registration.

(4) You only need to enter your email address in order to subscribe to the newsletter. The other, separately identified data is voluntary; we will only use it so we can address you by your name. Once you have confirmed, we will store your email address for the purpose of sending you the newsletter in which we will inform you about our products and services or products.   The legal basis for the processing of your personal data is Art. 6 para. 1 subpara. 1(a) GDPR.

(5) You may withdraw your consent to the storage and use of your email address to send the newsletter at any time with future effect and unsubscribe from the newsletter. To do this, go to the bottom of the email and click the “Click here to unsubscribe from the newsletter” link or contact us in person: Email: service@happydog.de, Tel.: +49 (0) 82 34 / 96 22 418 or by post to: Interquell GmbH, Südliche Hauptstr. 38, 86517 Wehringen.

You will find further information in CleverReach’s own privacy notice at https://www.cleverreach.com/de/datenschutz.

(7) We also wish to point out that we and/or CleaverReach analyse your browsing behaviour when the newsletter is sent. For the purposes of this analysis, the emails that are sent contain “web beacons” or tracking pixels (which are single-pixel image files that are stored on our website). Technical information such as the time of the visit, IP address, browser type and operating system, plus the web beacons, are linked with your email address and an individual ID.  This enables us to tell whether a message has been opened and which links were clicked. The legal basis in this respect is your consent under Art. 6 para. 1 subpara. 1(a) GDPR.

All data collected is pseudonymised; the IDs are not linked to the rest of your personal data so it is not possible to associate the IDs directly with you.

The information will be stored for as long as you remain subscribed to the newsletter. When you unsubscribe, we will store the data anonymously and purely in statistical form. Such tracking is also not possible if you have disabled the display of images by default in your email program. In this case, the newsletter will not be displayed in full, and you may not be able to use all the functions. If you allow the images to be displayed manually, the tracking described above takes place.

If you want to prevent the data analysis for statistical purposes, you will have to unsubscribe from the newsletter.

13. Our analysis and marketing tools

·  Google Ads (conversion tracking / remarketing)

This website makes use of Google Ads, incorporating conversion tracking and the remarketing function. This is an online advertising platform provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, 4 Barrow St, Dublin, D04 E5W5, Ireland ("Google").

Scope

Google delivers these advertisements via ad servers. For this reason we use ad server cookies which allow certain parameters for measuring success to be measured, such as how often ads are shown or how many times they are clicked on by users. If you reach our website via a Google advertisement, Google Ads will store a cookie on your PC. These cookies generally expire after 30 days and should not enable you to be identified in person. In addition to this cookie, the other analysis values stored are generally the unique cookie ID, the number of ad impressions by placement (frequency), last impression (of relevance for post-view conversions) and opt-out information (indicating that the user no longer wishes to be addressed).

These cookies enable Google and ourselves to recognise your browser. If a user visits certain pages of the website of an Ads customer and the cookie stored on his computer has not yet expired, Google and the Ads customer can tell that the user has clicked on the advertisement and been redirected to this page. A different cookie is assigned to every Ads customer. Cookies cannot therefore be tracked beyond the websites of Ads customers.

We do not ourselves collect or process any personal data in association with these advertisements. We simply receive from Google statistical analyses which enable us to see which of our advertisements have been especially effective. We do not receive any more detailed data from the use of the advertisements; in particular, we are not able to identify users using this information.

In addition to Google Ads Conversion, we also use the Google Remarketing application. This is a feature that allows us to address you again. If you have previously visited our website, the application lets us display our ads to you as you continue to use the Internet. This is done using cookies which are stored in your browser and which Google uses to record and analyse your usage behaviour as you visit different websites. Google thus knows that you have previously visited our website. According to Google, it does not combine the data collected in association with remarketing with any of your personal data that Google may have stored. In particular, according to Google, pseudonymisation is used for remarketing.

We have no influence over which data is collected, nor has Google revealed to us the full scope of the data collection or the storage period. It is also possible in this respect for your data to be transferred to the Google LLC servers in the USA.

You will find further information about the scope of data collection and how it is processed by Google at http://www.google.com/intl/de/policies/privacy and

https://services.google.com/sitestats/de.html . Alternatively you can visit the website of the Network Advertising Initiative (NAI) at http://www.networkadvertising.org.

Purpose

The statistical analyses that Google sends us enable us to see which of our advertisements have been especially effective. We use this service for the purpose of displaying advertisements that may be of interest to you in order make our website more interesting for you.

Google also analyses the data obtained through the use of the service for the purposes of advertising, market research and/or to structure its website in line with demand.

Scope

This website uses Google Analytics with the extension "_anonymizeIp()". In member states of the European Union or other contracting member states of the European Economic Area, Google uses IP anonymisation on this website to shorten your IP address before processing. As a result it cannot be linked to you directly.

Google will use this information on our behalf to evaluate your use of the website, compile reports on website activities and to provide the operator with other services relating to website and Internet usage. Google Analytics will not combine the IP address transmitted by your browser with any other data held by Google.

Your browser uses the marketing tools to automatically establish a direct connection to a Facebook server; the information generated by Facebook is then transferred this server where it is stored.

Website users can then be shown targeted advertisements (Facebook ads) when they visit the Facebook social network or other websites that also use the function. As a result, Facebook ads that we have created should only be displayed to those Facebook users who have shown an interest in our offers or have certain other features / interests that we have indicated to Facebook (“custom audiences”). The Facebook pixel is also used for statistical and market research purposes since it enables us to see whether a user, after clicking a Facebook ad, was redirected to our website (“conversion”).

We have no influence over which data is collected, nor has Facebook revealed to us the full scope of the data collection or the storage period. It is also possible in this respect for your data to be transferred to the Facebook Inc. servers in the USA.
